Conscious connected breathwork
Breathwork can open space for insight, emotion, and embodied processing when held within the context of a therapeutic relationship.
I am trained in facilitating Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB), and in some instances may bring this approach into our therapeutic work together. CCB involves using a specific technique to modulate the breath and produce changes in one’s conscious experience. These changes can bring unconscious material to the surface, making it more accessible for therapeutic processing.
When offering breathwork to clients, it is held within the context of our therapeutic relationship. At least one therapy session is dedicated to intention setting and preparation, and one is geared towards integration after the breathwork session itself. I work together with clients to determine eligibility and readiness for this modality.
